Home Trust Secured Visa Card Referral Program

The Home Trust Secured Visa Card helps your clients establish or re-establish their credit even if they had credit difficulties in the past or if they have no credit history. It's an excellent opportunity for students, new comers to Canada and past bankrupts.

The Home Trust Secured Visa Card requires applicants to "secure" the Visa card by submitting a deposit equal to the credit limit of the card ($500 - $10,000) with the application. The account is insured by the Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) (1-800-461-2342). When the cardholder closes their account, their deposit is returned to them once all outstanding payments are made.

A key part of the success of the Secured Visa Card is the Home Trust Visa Referral Program. Brokers registered in the program receive a referral code that must be placed in the bottom right corner of every application. For every approved application, referrers are paid $35. Referral fees are paid monthly.

How it works:

1. Review, complete and print the Referral Program Membership Form & Service Agreement.

2. Fax the completed form to 416-360-8909 or 1-877-989-9979,

   Home Trust will confirm your referral code by phone or email.
3. On a monthly basis, Home Trust pays referral sources $35.00 for each approved Secured Visa application that has their referral code on it.
