Golfing for a cause at our 8th annual charity golf tournament

At the 8th annual Home Trust Tom Trenouth Charity Golf Tournament on September 16, participants helped raise awareness and funds in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), a 100+-year-old organization that provides advocacy, programs, and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.

To ensure everyone’s safety, the event was a bit different this year, but we were still able to bring together people from across Canada and throughout the mortgage industry and raise $110,000. Since its inauguration in 2012, the tournament has amassed more than $660,000 in support of CMHA.

There is always a need to talk about and support mental health, and in today’s challenging COVID-19 climate, the need is even greater. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, supported, and participated in the tournament.
